How to make a clear button appear in a textfield

If you want to let users clear their entry on a UITextField, the standard approach is to add a clear button to the right edge of the text field. This can be done in two ways, depending on what effect you want:
textField.clearButtonMode = .always
textField.clearButtonMode = .whileEditingThe first will always show the clear button, and the second will only show it while the user is editing the text.
