XCTest how to find a Stack element

I am trying to create a test where I toggle a picker triggers a switch to Dark mode. I want to detect dark mode by detecting a change to a Stack's background color to black.

I'm able to find the button elements of my picker, although not the picker itself, but cannot find an Stack elements. ZStack, HStack, etc.

Is this because Stacks don't have a parallel within the XCTest query syntax? How can I detect the background color of container Views?
