Waiting to read data from CloudKit before loading a view

Forums > SwiftUI

There must be a solution out there, I've tried using DispatchQueue, but the queue continues whilst data is loading in from the background.

My views contain calculations from class structs that are loaded from CloudKit. I have the fetchdata running at an .onAppear, but occasionally, my views are loading before the data has finished loading from CloudKit, and my data is invalidated.

Thoughts?

As it the fetch works in the background. You would need to do the calculuations in the DispatchQueue closure and then that result would equal a @State var that would update you view.
