Updating navigation bar title in mixed UIKit and SwiftUI project

Forums > SwiftUI

I'm presenting a SwiftUI view from UIViewController.

let testViewController = UIHostingController(rootView: TestView())
navigationController?.pushViewController(testViewController, animated: true)
struct TestView: View {
    var body: some View {
        VStack {

        }
        .navigationBarTitle("Title")
    }
}

This works but the title updates only after the view has appered. Do I have to use a UIHostingController subclass (and set the title there) if I want to show SwiftUI view? Or is there another way to do this properly?

Facing the same issue, did you find a solution to this?

Please use testViewController.title = "Title"
