Ultimate Portfolio Step 12: premature sorting action on sort button event

At step 12 implementation, in the iPhone 12 Pro simulator (12.4) when I edit an item, e.g. changing priority or completion, after returning to the main list view, when I click the sort button a sort happens as the actionSheet comes into display.

In other words, as soon as the sort button is clicked the list rows reorder, even as the actionSheet is animating up in front.

I suspect this may be a similar issue to the "SOLVED: Ultimate Portfolio App: Editing a Project Dismiss immediately" topic in this forum, but I'm not sure. Anyone else seeing this?
