I have just completed programming for iOS 1 at the local college, and wanted to continue progress over the Summer before continuing with the next level of iOS courses necessary for me to obtain a certificate in iOS Development.

I wrapped the the course up by using UIKit to create a Playground 'App'.

No, stick with UIKit for now if you want a job. SwiftUI is about a year away from large industry take up. At least here in Europe.
