Forums > SwiftUI

Hi all!

I faced to a problem with searchable, that is not visible if there is List view in Nav view. I feel it takes place in the screen but it is not displayed I just downloaded example project from https://www.hackingwithswift.com/quick-start/swiftui/how-to-add-a-search-bar-to-filter-your-data The same thing with my own projects. I use xcode 13.3

Have you tried to "pull" the list dowm in simulator! to reveal the seach bar.

This works

struct ContentView: View {
    @State private var searchText = ""

    var body: some View {
        NavigationView {
            List {
                Text("Searching for \(searchText)")
            }
            .searchable(text: $searchText)
            .navigationTitle("Searchable Example")
        }
    }
}
