I don't tink I have seen a numeric keyboard on an Ipad. Did you try tu run the code on a Ipad (simulator)?

I have and it comes up as a standard keyboard. I'm trying to limit user input to only numbers and the decimal point.... This option above(.decimalPad) don't work for iPad...

Here is the solution I found and am using currently: (I modified this code to fit my needs but this is the original code)

import SwiftUI
import Combine

struct TextFiltering: View {

    @State private var userName = ""
    @State private var codeNumber = ""

    var body: some View {
        HStack {
            TextField("Username", text: $userName)
                .background(Color.cyan)
                .onReceive(Just(userName)) { newValue in
                    let allowedCharacters = "ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789._-"
                    let filtered = newValue.filter { allowedCharacters.contains($0) }
                    if filtered != newValue {
                        self.userName = filtered
                    }
                }
            Spacer()
            TextField("Code", text: $codeNumber)
                .background(Color.yellow)
                .onReceive(Just(codeNumber)) { newValue in
                    let allowedCharacters = "0123456789"
                    let filtered = newValue.filter { allowedCharacters.contains($0) }
                    if filtered != newValue {
                        self.codeNumber = filtered
                    }
                }
        }
    }

}
