SOLVED: How to request review in new life cycle

Forums > SwiftUI

@frios

SKStoreReviewController.requestReview() has been deprecated in iOS 14. It have been replaced by SKStoreReviewController.requestReview(in: UIWindowScene). Does anyone know how to implement this in the new life cycle system?

The topic would also interest me. Because there is no UIWindowScene

Something like this (UIKit) if let windowScene = UIApplication.shared.windows.first?.windowScene { SKStoreReviewController.requestReview(in: windowScene) }

I did use @ptclarke method and submited the app to the Appstore. When app is live if the user clicked Submit, nothing happen, the button turn to gray and the rating screen keep showen as nothing. The rating not submited.

This is my code

.onDisappear(perform: {

                if let scene = UIApplication.shared.connectedScenes.first(where: { $0.activationState == .foregroundActive }) as? UIWindowScene {
                    SKStoreReviewController.requestReview(in: scene)
                }

            })
