How to add random to FetchResult core data

Forums > SwiftUI

After doing fetch request, I got an array of quotes. Then I have use this quotes array into ForEach. How can I make this quotes array return randomly after fetch request.

  let fetchRequest = Quote.basicFetchRequest()
  var quotes : FetchedResults<Quote> {
    fetchRequest.wrappedValue
  }

  ForEach(self.quotes) {quote in
      CardView(quote: quote)
    }

If you just want a single random quote you could probably use randomElement() instead of the ForEach for a simple array.

CardView(quote: quotes.randomElement() ?? "To be.. or not to be.")

This is assuming it's an an array of strings. If you want to return several random ones then you could wrap that into a ForEach loop.
