SOLVED: What is the correct deletion rule to use.

Forums > Swift

I have two entites, A Playlist and a Hymn.

On the Playlist entitiy I have a relationships called hymns

On the Hymn entity I have a relationship called playlists.

I want all the hymns associated with a playlist to delete if the user deletes the playlist. Is it correct that if I set the deletion rule on the hymns relationship to cascade, it will delete all the hymns associated with that playlist?

Thanks Mark

The deletion rule tells you what happens to the Destination Entity (the entity you are pointing to).

On the Playlist entity you would set the deletion rule for the hymns relation to cascade. On the Hymn entity you would set the deletion rule for the playlist relation to nullify.
