SOLVED: how to create generic array that can accept any data type?

Hi im learning generics and can do this

//array using generics var list1: Array<Int> = [] //create integer type array that accepts Int, Float,Double var list2: Array<String> = []

what is the syntax for a generic array that can accept any data type i.e. string, int, etc?

var anylist: Array<Any> = []
anylist.append("Hello")
anylist.append(14)
anylist.append(32.3)
anylist.append(false)
print(anylist)
//prints ["Hello", 14, 32.3, false]
