Defining Scene versus a Window

Forums > Swift

Hello,

I'm learning Swift right now and do not understand the difference between a scene and a window.

My understanding is that a window holds all of our view controllers. A Scene on the other hand holds the window and allows us to have multiple instances of the app running.

Resources that I search for online seem to define them similarly so I'd really appreciate it if anyone could help me define each and highlight the differences between them.

Thanks for your time,

Mack
