binding SwiftData properties

Forums > Swift

I thought SwiftData classes, such as Transaction in this case, are Observable by default and I could use $transaction.purpose for the binding but that "is not found in scope". Is there another step to make the whole object amenable to binding instead of using "Bindable(transaction).xyz every time?

TableColumn("Description", value: \Transaction.purpose) { transaction in TextField("Description", text: Bindable(transaction).purpose)
