SOLVED: Xcode complaining about missing NSCalendarsUsageDescription

Forums > iOS

I want to access the calendar on the iPad and despite I'm HAVING a NSCalendarsUsageDescription in my Info.plist Xcode is complaining and crashes when I try to request authorization. Any ideas what is wrong? I'm writing a SwiftUI app, but this shouldn't be a problem, or is it?

I have a use case where I want to This app has crashed because it attempted to access privacy-sensitive data without a usage description. The app's Info.plist must contain an NSCalendarsUsageDescription key with a string value explaining to the user how the app uses this data.

Okay, I found the error. You have to add the keys also to your Test Targets in Xcode, then it works. This is somehow inconsistent because I used the photo library before with the key only in my apps target Info.plist.
