Will developer mode break stuff and drain battery faster?

Hello,

I was developing on a simulator but now I want to develop on a real device as I cannot do all things on the sim. Hence I have enabled the developer mode. Noiw I wonder, will it increase battery consumbtion and will it break any of my iPhone's ffunctions like it did on Android? Unfortunately I don't have money for another iPhone for development.
