iOS MVC vs web development's MVC?

Forums > iOS

Hi there all,

So i'm in my 4th week of learning Swift & iOS. I'm really confused about how MVC is implemented in iOS, it seems to be quite different than backend web development's MVC, coming from Ruby on rails it seems that there really is not conrete way of how MVC is implemented in iOS.

Is this intentional? Apple's documentation is not really clear about this aswell, and a lot of people on the web seem to be disagreeing with each other on how to apply the MVC architecture to iOS, thoughts?

Cheers!
