Back in the fall I was struggling to keep organized with my busy school schedule. I tried to use apple's reminders, but found myself upset with a lot of its functionality. I decided at that time that if I really wanted a solution to my problem I would need to build my own app.

I realized how personal a todo app could be to the user and it lead to one of Lista's core ideas. Within the app you can pick and rearrange the elements to your liking. You can show off lists, but you can add other productivity adjacent things like a notepad or a counter to your screen, almost like notion. I plan on adding more modules in the future, among other features.

Currently I've implemented

  • Tags, and other ways to categorize tasks
  • Start dates, due dates, repeating tasks, and notifications
  • Filtered Lists with and / or rules
  • A modular interface that can display
    • Lists
    • List Groups
    • Notepads
    • Counters
    • Links & Shortcuts support
    • Pages that act as another view to contain more modules
  • Searching current and completed tasks
  • Home and lock screen Widgets
  • Live activities where you can pin a list and its tasks
  • Icloud support
  • And more

Lista varies from other apps with its modular interface so I'd like to get other peoples feedback on its implementation. Not to metion I would like to gage people's interest in the app, as well as find any bugs within it. If you're interested in trying it out please use this link to download it from TestFlight https://testflight.apple.com/join/7Q9mKUr0

Please feel free to reach out to me here or within the app with feedback whether good or bad. I'm excited for people to try my app I've worked so long on.

Thanks for sharing. Looks good. I'll try it for a few days and give you opinions, but at first glance, it's great. Congratulation!!
