.json

Forums > 100 Days of SwiftUI

Hi,

I just finished the Moonshot project. It was a great tutorial and gave me a lot of ideas.

My question is about the .json files we imported into the project (astronaut.json, mission.json). If I knew how to create .json files using "string" data like the ones we used in the project, a whole world of possiblities opens.

Can someone recommend a good source to learn how to make them?

Thank you, Arthur

Creating JSON files is pretty easy. It's just text structured a certain way.

You can use online formatters like JSON Editor Online, JSON formatter or Code Beautify to build your file. Or even just a plain text editor.

W3Schools has a pretty decent introduction to JSON for learninng the basics.
