Day 56 - Project 11, part 4 - Challenge 3 Feedback

Forums > 100 Days of SwiftUI

I spent an hour trying to debug the issue of adding a new “date” attribute to the book class. I simply did not realize I needed to delete the app in the simulator because I changed the model. Please include this as a hint earlier on. I will chalk it up as a valuable lesson. Thank you!!!

Thank you Jim, I too spent a while scratching my head as to why books I was adding were not appearing after adding the date attribute. I found your post after admitting defeat, and this was the issue. You're a life saver. Definitely recommend Paul adding this as a hint for the challenge!

Hi @jimlockett and @jasper if you go to the Project 11, part 4 there is a link to a form How can this day be improved?. Send your feedback there.

PS Sometime getting thing wrong and searching for the answer is a good way to learn. You will remember that more then if someone told you to do this.

I know this as if you use iCloud and have it on TestFlight and change the attributes you have to copy them from develpoment to production do not create them.
