How to programmatically set focus on a tableview cell

Forums > tvOS

I am currently working on a tvOS app that uses tableView.selectRow(at: indexPath as IndexPath, animated: true, scrollPosition: .middle) to programmatically select a cell. It does highlight the cell by showing a different background color. However, it does not have the same 3-D effect as when the cell is clicked. I assume that this effect is handled by the Focus engine. Is there a way to tell the Focus engine to select a cell programmatically?
