Present sheet after popover

Scenario:

  1. Pressing a Button changes the boolean @State isPopoverPresented to true.
  2. A popover is presented due to that state change.
  3. Pressing a Button on that popover changes the boolean @State isPopoverPresented back to false and then changes the boolean @State isSheetPresented to true.
  4. The popover disappears and a sheet is presented due to that state change.

This results in a runtime error. I think it is because the popover takes some time to disappear - wich should not matter since the @State is correctly set. Any ideas?
