SOLVED: orientation to just "portrait" doesn't work with iPad

Forums > SwiftUI

Hi, this is my settings for the app:

No problem for iPhone, the frame stay to portrait forever, but it is not the case with iPad (it flips to landscape and i don't want). Do you know why ?

I have the same problem. Did you find a solution?

Goto the pList (or xCode 13 the info tab) and find Supported interface orientations (iPad) and click on the minus button for the ones you do not want.

PS Remember that most people use thier iPad in landscape so restricting it to portrait might not be a good unless your app really need it.

Hi Nigel, I ended up finding and forgetting to update the post, anyway thank you. For the app I am doing, portrait mode is the right choice, I could only add landscape mode when I made a real interface dedicated to this mod.
