Organizing SwiftUI Views in the same file vs multiple files

Forums > SwiftUI

I have a View that has a complex design prototype, I have accomplished this View by separating each sub-View into a private struct iniside the ContetView struct, the final file has around 1k lines of code, which i guess is too large for a single file, what's the best choice for this case:

  • Putting each private View struct into a separate file, and in that file I put the private struct inside an extension to the main ContentView.
  • Leave the large file as is.

I'm splitting views into multiple files. It helps me to manage easily. I like this approach.
