MacOS window size control

Working on a MacOS app, and it appears I need to put sopmething like:

.frame(maxWidth: .infinity, maxHeight: .infinity)

Everytime a new view comes up. That really seems hacky, is there a "correct" way to maintain a constant window size and have the views adjust themselves to it, rather than the default which seems to be for the window to shrink to the "intrinsic" size of the view.
