SOLVED: How can I adapt string length to specific width?

Forums > SwiftUI

If I write Text("welrkewölrkewökrkslökfldskflsökflsfködskflöskflkwörqopweiqxmv,sf"),

it will automatically wrap text to the next line, like this:

        welrkewölrkewökrkslökfldskflsökflsfk
        ödskflöskflkwörqopweiqxmv,sf

How could I adjust so it look like in one line only, up to available width

        welrkewölrkewökrkslökfldskflsökfl...

I have thought of geometryReader, but not sure how to apply to this situation..

You could try this

Text("welrkewölrkewökrkslökfldskflsökflsfködskflöskflkwörqopweiqxmv,sf")
    .frame(width: 200)
    .lineLimit(1)

then adjust the frame width and lineLimit as needed.
