Haptics not working

Forums > SwiftUI

Applies to both Project 17 and Ultimate Portfolio App:

If you run into a problem where the built-in haptics aren't working, but you iPhone does give other haptic feeback (iMessages received etc), I found that the following setting fixed the problem:

Settings -> Sounds & Haptics -> System Haptic

That had to be on for UINotificationFeedbackGenerator().notificationOccurred(.success) to work.
