Do you practise Unit Testing?

Do you in general prepare and run unit tests or test thoroughly the app using actual device and the simulator?

I need to do this, i do not do this currently, but as i now work , i realise its important, manual testing is needed on device but to be able to write unit tests is criticial in production level projects
