Couple of timer savers 1) If you want to dismiss keyboard on tap outside of textfield create an extension of View and add it to the top View like so


extension View {
  func hideKeyBoard() {
    UIApplication.shared.sendAction(#selector(UIResponder.resignFirstResponder), to: nil, from: nil, for: nil)
  }
}

VStack {
}.onTapGesture {
hideKeyBoard()
}

If you want to remove the background for textfield which is white and want to have your custom bg

add -.textFieldStyle(PlainTextFieldStyle()) modifier to it and you will then get the bg of your choice
