Clicking on emoji picker (Character Palette) closes my MenuBarExtra app 🤔

Hi,

I'm making a macos MenuBarExtra window app and I open the emoji picker (Character Palette) with this

NSApp.orderFrontCharacterPalette(nil)

but when I click on the emoji picker, the app loses focus and closes itself. Is there a way to prevent that ?
