SOLVED: What are stacks used for?

i have watched the video about stack on HWS+. and as the title says, I have a question. why would you use stacks instead of regular arrays? i didnt understand completly what the adventsge was

One example you may already be familiar with is navigation in iOS. UINavigationController uses a stack to push and pop ViewControllers as a user navigates from screen to screen.

Arrays are, pretty much by definition, random access collections, meaning you can get at elements anywhere in the array at any time. Stacks, on the other hand, can only be accessed in a last in/first out manner.
