SOLVED: SPM: Broken symlink warning

Forums > Swift

I"m getting this warning when I try to build my code:

'llbuild' /Users/emirsari/Projeler/GitHub/yap/.build/checkouts/swift-llbuild: warning: ignoring broken symlink /Users/emirsari/Projeler/GitHub/yap/.build/checkouts/swift-llbuild/lib/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm/Demangle/include/llvm

I've deleted all the build folders etc. but the error still continues. It just popped out of nowhere, any ideas on how to fix this?

have you tried to clean build folders ↑ Shift + ⌘ Cmd + K and restart Xcode

Yes, and it doesn't make a difference. I get the same error even if I compile from CLI or Xcode.

@bitigchi

Theres is a bug on the swift-llbuild code. So you'll have to wait until the fix is pushed in the next release.

I asked about this on the swift forums: https://forums.swift.org/t/swift-llbuild-warning-ignoring-broken-symlink/38057
