Reducing the gap between table view cells

I need to reduce the space between table view cells to about half what they currently are (as shown by the red arrow) -- but I want each cell to still display 3 lines. I have tried a whole slew of things (changing cell height, fiddling with constraints of the textLabel, contentView, etc.), but can't get this to work. I just want to scrunch the cells, any suggestions would be welcome!

Did you try negative top and bottom margins for the UILabel inside cell?
