Xcode placeholder color

Forums > Swift

I have the macOS theme as Dark/Graphite and Xcode theme as Default (Dark). Under this combination, placeholders in Xcode (e.g. created <#like this#>) do not have a discernible color difference when selected (vs if a color macOS theme is used, in which it would use the Accent Color). This makes it more difficult to determine if a placeholder is selected, particularly among multiple nearby placeholders. This seems like a minor issue but I suspect can be problematic or annoying over the long-term. Is there an option to change the presentation (color or otherwise) specifically of selected/unselected placeholders in Xcode? Thanks.
