Trying to run core data app on Mac(designed for iPad) - missing mapping model error

Forums > macOS

I'm getting a fatal ‘ Persistent store migration failed, missing mapping model. ‘ issue trying to run a core data app on Mac(designed for iPad). Tried all the usual Xcode junk clearing and restating.. Also its the 1st time trying to run on Mac simulator, so I dont see how it could be a migration issue? Never had problems running non-coredata apps before, and Im not sure if I need to do anything different? (also - it runs fine on iPhone & iPad sim/physical device)
