Intents extension: where to put init & setup code?

Forums > macOS

Hi, I'm currently getting into my first Intents Extension, and while my intents are working I'm unsure about structuring my code. I know where to put the intents handling but from where would I call my setup functions (for initializing the logger or exception tracking etc.)? Not the implementations but the calls.

This is what it looks like right now:

import Intents

class IntentHandler: INExtension {
  override func handler(for intent: INIntent) -> Any {
    // intent handling happening here
    return self
  }
}

Any help would be appreciated.
