Hacking With Mac OS - Project 4 'EXC_BAD_ACCESS'

Forums > macOS

I'm adding the StackView to the ViewController and I'm getting this message - 'Thread 1: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (code=2, address=0x7ffeef3ffff8)'. I'm assuming it's referencing an error in this code:

    rows = NSStackView()
    rows.orientation = .vertical
    rows.distribution = .fillEqually
    rows.translatesAutoresizingMaskIntoConstraints = false
    rows.addSubview(rows)

    Does anyone see the error?

    Thanks

rows.addSubview(rows)

You are adding rows to itself as a subview. You need to add it to some other view instead.

Thanks,

Just sloppy on my part.
