Lead iOS engineer - AI notetaking team

The hiring company is a profitable, bootstrapped company with a team of 200-300 employees spread across 30 countries, including Eastern Europe and Asia. The founders are hands-on, fostering an innovative and collaborative culture.

The are looking for passionate iOS Engineers to join our team and help us build and scale our innovative AI note-taking and collaboration platform across devices. You will be part of a dynamic team that loves challenges. You will work remotely and collaborate with colleagues across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the iOS application for our note-taking and collaboration platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers, to deliver high-quality features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
  • Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews.
  • Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an iOS Engineer, preferably with experience in developing large-scale in-house products.
  • Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C.
  • Experience with Apple frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, and Core Graphics.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle unique and challenging tasks effectively.
  • At least 10 years experience with iOS (Must)
  • Previous experience building tools such as notion, mural, clickup, miro, etc. Please share those projects. (Must) -Shipped one or more non-trivial iOS apps on respective app stores. -Experience with cross-compiling codebases on different mobile platforms is a plus. -Any knowledge in Python, Javascript, Typescript, go, java, Ruby, rust is welcomed.

Preferred Locations:

  • Globally with 4 hours overlap from Asia or London or willing to relocate to that timezone.
  • Preferred locations: Poland, Portugal, Romania, Georgia, India, Taiwan, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Indonesia or willingness to relocate to those areas.
