We're building a live-streaming social shopping app with an initial focus on sneakers and streetwear, but expanding to dozens of categories. It is a combination of social community, content, P2P sales, livestreaming, video, messaging, and shopping. As the company expands, we will explore retail with our own iconic brand and fashion line.
We just applied to YCombinator a week ago, and awaiting to see if we get into the program. In the meantime, we'd like to find an experienced iOS engineer to join us at this early stage with the opportunity to earn equity and then salary once we're either in YC or raise seed capital. Flexible working arrangements (as we're pre-funding) and remote friendly. We're based in Las Vegas currently.
The demo app is already mostly complete, but there's still interesting new areas of the app to explore and build. Rare opportunity for the right individual that's self-motivated.

Our combined experience (co-founders) spans over 40 years across many verticals: Air Force, Navy, Zappos, Fox Sports, Dreamworks Animation, FLIR Infrared, Gap, Macy's, and many Venture-backed startups in fashion, sports, e-commerce, messaging, photos, video and gaming. Our precursor Jordan sneaker app launched in 2015, ranked #1 in ASO and racked up over 250K downloads that we will use to seed and market the new application. While funding is always uncertain, we have great connections and a decent chance to raise the money required to build Destined into a world-class startup.
