Uicollectionview animation

Hi all This is more of a general question about collection views.

Currently when a cell is being dragged in a UICollectionView the cells underneath just either slide up or down. Is it possible to change that animation and apply something more custom (like slide to the side and then up) or is that just default and not possible to change?
