Converting a CoreData app to use CloudKit

Forums > iOS

I've read this documentation and it seems straightforward.

https://developer.apple.com/documentation/coredata/mirroring_a_core_data_store_with_cloudkit/setting_up_core_data_with_cloudkit

When I first built my CoreData based app, I did not choose CloudKit. I would really like to implement this but have a question: Will content that was previously added to an app get synced with CloudKit after I add this capability, or will only new content get synced?
