Problem with Hacking with MacOS project7

so up front, this is in the ventura betas, b3 to be exact.

When I try to run project7, i get a blank window, even with files in the correct place with:

2022-07-11 09:31:56.856992-0500 Project7[8680:326798] [User Defaults] Couldn't read values in CFPrefsPlistSource<0x6000019cc000> (Domain: com.apple.powerlogd, User: kCFPreferencesAnyUser, ByHost: Yes, Container: (null), Contents Need Refresh: Yes): accessing preferences outside an application's container requires user-preference-read or file-read-data sandbox access

as an error message. Googling doesn't really come up with a good way to fix.
