Hey everyone, I released Cardio Active, a private by design fitness app, back in Feb 2020. I got a few feature release updates in since then as well as a few bug fixes too. So far it has just be a quiet launch. I'm ready to reach more users--especially with iOS 14 around the corner! 100% Swift, 100% code from scratch, maybe 15% SwiftUI? Lots of long nights coding referencing this site. Keep it up Paul! Now about the app.
Introducing Cardio Active - a new way to work out.
Cardio Active is private, by design.
That means no online account creation, none of your workout or fitness data floating around in the cloud, and you're fully in control of your data. In this digital age, we believe everyone should be able to work out with technology without sacrificing their data or privacy. That's why we made Cardio Active.
Or so the elevator pitch in my App Store description goes... if you're into fitness, technology, and privacy--check it out. And even if you're not, take a peek anyways!

This Thursday (Sept 17th) I have an event lined up as part of Minnesota's annual 'Twin Cities Startup Week' to do more of a public launch. This year, beta.mn is doing it virtual conference over the course of the month. Here is my listing: Twin Cities Startup Week
Depending on the weather and the attendee count, I might live stream on Zoom or Webex out on one of our 10,000 lakes while testing a new feature coming to my next update, kayaking workout support! Cardio Active Meetup Event
Reach out to me on Meetup if you are interested in doing some beta testing, got questions, or found some bugs!
