Thoughts on the impacts of AI

I'm about 1/4 of the way through the 100 days of SwiftUi. Its taken me about 2 months and I want to continue. I know this is a big time investment to learn a new programming language and to potentially start a carrer. I'm concerned that AI might make this a short lived, competitive or obsolete carrer choice long term. Does anyone have any insights regarding this?
