SOLVED: Help with Project 2 Flag Assets

Forums > 100 Days of SwiftUI

I'm struggling how to get the flag images for project 2 off the Github site.

Pauls says to : "First, find the assets for this project and drag them into your asset catalog. That means opening Assets.xcassets in Xcode, then dragging in the flag images from the project2-files folder."

I've tried downloading the project 2 folder from Github and opening it in Xcode but that is not working.

Any help would be much appreciated.

See the Assets.xcassets group in Xcode (left hand side) in this video, click on it. Find the flag files (named .imageset) in the folder your downloaded from github, and drag & drop them beneath the AppIcon group.

Thanks @Greenamberred,

Sorry but I am a beginner and I think my problem starts with downloading from github.

On github I navigate to the SwiftUI/project2 folder. Since I can't find a download file action on github web site I right click on the project 2 floder and download file as...but that download is not all the files in project2 but it appears to be some kind of text file that has nothing in it.

Guess I need to understand how to download the project2 file from github.

you could try this:

I used GitHub Desktop to download all the files. https://desktop.github.com/

After installing, choose clone a repository and use Paul's Hacking With Swift repository: https://github.com/twostraws/HackingWithSwift

That was helpful. Thanks!
