Day 59 Core Data - NSPredicate Challenge

Forums > 100 Days of SwiftUI

Hello,

Anyone here who have tried to search by only candy name?

I have tried and got it working but the issue is it is not displaying the filtered candy array. It seems like it just shows the correct section which matches the candy name.

My piece of code for init() method in FilteredList view is here

init(filter:String){
    fetchRequest =  FetchRequest<Country>(entity: Country.entity(),
    sortDescriptors: [NSSortDescriptor(keyPath: \Country.shortName, ascending: true)],
    predicate: NSPredicate(format: "ANY candy.name CONTAINS[c] %@", filter))
}

This code gives me the whole section in which that candy name exists!

[Note: If I go for showing only candies(no country section) then everything just works fine!]

How can I show only the matched candies (with country wise section)?

Any help would greatly be appreciated!
