Project 23 / day 1 override error

I get this error regarding the "override func update" section:

'override' can only be specified on class members

heres the code arround the section that has been affected:

 override func update(_ currentTime: TimeInterval) {
            var bombCount = 0
            for node in activeEnemies {
                if node.name == "bombCounter" {
                    bombCount += 1
                    break
                }
            }

And your update function is a member of the GameScene class?
