DAY 72

Project 14, part 5

Today is the last day of coding for this project, and I’m sure you’re looking forward to the challenges and review tomorrow – it should make a nice change from such a long tutorial. Still, as William Eardley once said, “ambition is the path to success, persistence is the vehicle you arrive in” – you showed ambition for starting this course, and now you’ve made it to day 72 you’re clearly showing persistence too!

Today you’re going to learn how to make our app save data securely, then protect that data using biometric authentication. Although you don’t to use Touch ID and Face ID everywhere, you should strongly consider it when storing any sensitive data – it’s so easy to do, and gives users the reassurance that you take their privacy seriously.

Today you have two topics to work through, in which you’ll learn how to write data to disk securely, and how to enable biometric authentication.

That’s another app done – make sure and share your progress with the world!
