Full screen transparent app

Forums > macOS

Hi there, I'm trying to develop a macOS app with a container but that can basically work full screen.

The usecase is pretty complicated but, just to give an easier understading of what I want to build, let's just assume that for example I want to build an app working in background that, after using a specific shortcut, activates a full screen animation like for example an animation with snow falling from the top of the screen.

I'm able to obtain this kind of effects in a normal separeted window for the app but I really don't understand how to have this kind of effect in a transparent full screen background.

Any ideas? Thank you for your help!
